Prof. I.A.C. Mbachu is the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Science. A distinguished academic and visionary leader, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the natural sciences, research leadership, and academic mentorship.

The Faculty of Natural Sciences (FNS) at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) is a beacon of knowledge and innovation in the scientific disciplines. Established in May 2014, the faculty aims to address the educational needs of both undergraduate and postgraduate students while improving their scientific literacy.

Admission Requirements and Procedures - Clear Pathways

Undergraduate Admission
  • Five credit passes in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Acceptable UME score.
  • Direct entry with OND or A/L qualifications.
Postgraduate Admission
  • Matriculation requirements and relevant degree qualifications.
  • PGD at credit level or professional degrees with experience.
